    A Little About Me

I was born in Greeley, Co in November of 1980 and lived there until i was about 3. After that we moved to Lovelend, Co which is where i have remained, with a few excursions out of state for a few months at a time. I started getting tattooed at a very young age, and got my first professional tattoo at 16, a trificition (from deicide). From then on i was hooked. in 2001 as i was getting my sleeves done i began to learn to tattoo. I spent about 1 1/2 years before i touched a machine.I have helped open and run several street shops including, Pinup Industries (Loveland, Co), Empire Tattoo (Loveland, Co), and Story Of My Life Tattoo (Ft. Collins, Co) and worked at Celebrity Tattoo in Denver, Co.

I am the father to two wonderful little girls Isabella and Elisabeth, and husband to my awesome wife Desarae. I left Story Of My Life Tattoo in early 2010 to work as an Electrical Technician at JBS (mostly for the insurance). I continue to(and prefer to over street shops), tattoo in my private studio which gives me the freedom to pick and choose my clientel and allows me more creative freedom. I believe that tattooing is a craft, not an industry, and that every artist should learn the craft through an apprenticeship, not a "Tattoo School". I believe that being a tattoo artist is one of the greatest honors there is. I am privedleged to have a clientel who trusts me to create permanent art on their bodies and i believe that is the greatest compliment an artist can get.

I think my favorite tattoo style is Traditional / Neo-Traditional although I love the Black and Gery dark art style as well. But i will take on any challenge and believe that is how we grow as artists.

    My Interests

    • In my spare time i enjoy spending time with my family, Creating entertaining and offensive memes on my facebook pages and painting in water colors. I love debating people on everything from religion and philosophy, to government and politics. I also love cliff diving and swimming in basically any natural body of water. I love hot springs and plan on visiting as many as i possibly can.

    What To Do:

Leave the tattoo bandaged for 1hour and no longer .

Remove bandage under warm running water. If bandage is stuck to the tattoo, gently remove it while under running water, therefore reducing the risk of damaging the tattoo.

Once bandage is removed, using an unscented soap, wash the tattoo off well 3-4 times, lather it up rinse it off and repeat with your hand and warm soapy water.

When done washing the tattoo off, gently pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel and allow the tattoo to air dry for about 5-10 minutes.

Apply Aquaphor or Vitamin A&D (I recommend aquaphor) ointment very thin just enough to moisturize to the tattoo after washing, 3-4 times a day for 3 days.

Then lotion non scented plain (lubrirderm, curel) can be applied to the tattoo about 3-4 times daily for about 10-14 days or until the tattoo is completely done peeling.

Somewhere between 3 and 6 days, the tattoo will start to flake off like tissue paper. Do not pick at or scratch. Let the skin peel naturally. You will notice small pieces of dry skin containing color coming off while using the lotion or washing the tattoo. This is normal- it is just a top layer of dead skin coming off. Your tattoo is not disappearing.

    What Not To Do

Once bandage is completely removed DO NOT rebandage the tattoo.

NO direct sunlight on tattoo for first 2-3 weeks.

DO NOT pick or scratch tattoo while it is peeling.

DO NOT soak the tattoo for 2 weeks. No swimming, baths, hot tubs or saunas for 2 weeks.

When tattoo has completely peeled, swimming or soaking is OK.

No shaving or waxing area until tattoo is completely healed.

DO NOT apply alcohol, Vaseline petroleum jelly or sunblock to fresh tattoo.

DO NOT listen to friends or so-called tattoo experts. If you have questions, call or visit the artist that did your tattoo!

    Some Extra Stuff

Once you leave the shop, proper care of your tattoo is your responsibility. Small amounts of color may appear on clothing or sheets for first few days. When tattoo is peeling, color will appear in pieces of dry skin. If the tattoo is in an area where it can be exposed to the air, allow it to breathe. Allowing the tattoo to breathe will help the healing. Your body and oxygen are going to heal the
